Our Story

We started less than twenty years ago with 12 people.  Housed in a tiny church in Bolyston, the numbers were small but full of heart, faith and vision.  Pastor Will Bard arrived twelve years ago to inspire us further.  With his vision, direction and communication of the Gospel, along with loyal followers of Christ, Liberty now houses over 2,000 weekly attendees in our multi-site church. 

Ground breaking has already occurred for our new 1,200 seat sanctuary in Shrewsbury and the second church is filling up at 5 Chestnut St. in Worcester.  Once hailed as the “Cathedral of Worcester”, this scaled down replica of Paris’ Notre Dame, which sat empty for over 25 years, is now a thriving city worship center and the home of The New England Dream Center:  a faith-based nonprofit ministering to the poor and “least among us.”
